Keystone Development
As Founder and Principal of Keystone Development Group, Art May possesses over 30 years of experience in all facets of the real estate development and construction industries. He has extensive expertise in structuring transactions, financial modeling, public private partnerships and development management. Art has managed a portfolio of projects consisting of market rate multifamily, affordable housing, hotels, R & D, and office development for various partners and clients.
Prior to forming Keystone Development Group, Art was Vice President of Development with the Kimpton Hotel and Restaurant Group, managing acquisition and hotel development in several east and west coast markets. He also served as Regional Vice President for Security Capital Group, developing extended-stay hotel studios and Vice President for SCG Multifamily Development, developing multifamily housing. Prior to these positions, Art served as Vice President and CFO for Western Development Group and project manager for a Seattle-based general contracting firm.
Art received an MBA from Stanford University Graduate School of Business and earned a BS in Construction Management, cum laude, as well as a BA in Architecture, cum laude from the University of Washington. Art is an active member of the Urban Land Institute, an Oakland Young Life committee member, a Certified Green Building Professional, and a prior board member of the Stanford Business School Alumni Association.
